Thirsty Crafts began during the Covid pandemic as a hobby that quickly grew into something much bigger.

Like many parents, I was constantly replacing my son's school drinks bottles because the standard plastic bottles from the shops seemed to crack or leak after only a few drops. I wanted something that looked great but was also durable enough to survive everyday life.

I started creating personalised drinks bottles using sublimation printing, and they proved to be much tougher than the ones we'd been buying. They stood up to plenty of knocks and dents before eventually showing signs of wear, and friends and family soon started asking me to make bottles for them too.

What started as a hobby has grown into Thirsty Crafts – a small UK business creating personalised gifts that are made with care, one order at a time.

How We Create Your Personalised Gifts

Every item is individually made to order using a process called sublimation printing.

Sublimation uses special heat-activated inks that permanently bond with the surface of specially coated products. Unlike vinyl stickers or transfers that can peel or crack over time, sublimation becomes part of the product itself. This means your design won't flake, fade or peel with normal everyday use.

Whether you're ordering a mug, water bottle, tumbler, coaster or another personalised gift, every item is produced with the same care and attention to detail.

From Design to Finished Product

Every order is made by hand in our workshop.

Once your order is received, your chosen design is prepared and printed using high-quality sublimation inks onto premium transfer paper. The design is then carefully positioned onto your chosen product before being permanently bonded using either a mug press or a flat heat press, depending on the item.

After pressing, every product is allowed to cool naturally before being cleaned to remove any remaining transfer ink. Each item is then checked, packaged carefully and prepared for dispatch.

Because every product is made individually, we can ensure each order receives the attention it deserves.
